Completely forgot that it was Hina Matsuri Day in Japan yesterday. The Girls' Doll Festival is always held to insure the good health and marriage possibilities of girls. The parents spend their money and energy to build up this multi-tiered display of Heian Era courtesan dolls, and then quickly break it down as soon as possible after March 3rd so as not to delay the matrimonial hopes of their daughters.
Kinda think that some of those daughters have been secretly re-building the displays in their rooms all these years....
